\Love this set of vintage cream colored seashell plates I found recently at a church antique sale that featured many items from old Virginia country homes and estates. This is a set of eight and they are marked Made in Japan. They have that fine crazing that I just love. Fantastic to use and if I had a beach house these pieces would be mounted on the wall as art work.....to see and use.
Hope you all are having a fabulous week and Happy Wednesday. For more wonderful White Wednesday's just click here to whisk you right over to Kathleen's blog, Faded Charm. Lynn, Even though you don't have that beach house, I hope you'll find a wall in your home to display them. They are so pretty- crazing and all. That's what makes them interesting to me. I want to get some of those new plate hangers with no wires. Have you seen them?
hugs, Sue
I adore anything sea shell and these are fantastic. Of course you shouldn't sell them. Girl, they stand alone!

Those plates are so unique. I can think of lots of yummy meals to serve on them. Even one large piece of chocolate cake would be fabulous.

Ok. I realized, after I submitted that comment, that it was the blogger ahead of my comment that had sales going well, but too late! Forgive me!! I was in a hurry to leave a comment, like a footprint, so you'd know I'd been to see ya!
Lynn, I was thrilled to see your comment and know that you had recently found my humble blog! I was happy too, to hear from a fellow "lover of chickens". I never thought I could love those little creations that most people label as dumb, but they are far from it. I would love to hear more about your newest family members. Ours are growing fast! I love your seashell plates, I wish i could find something adorable lke that over here in Germany, I might miss the Jersey shore a bit less!!! :-) Your blog is lovely and I plan to go back and scroll down to see what other intersting things you have shared recently that I have missed out on! warmly, Debby
p.s. Lynn, I just became your newest follower, number 157, and it was just meant to be, cuz '57 is my birth year!! Debby
